「新陳代謝再考」と「医療機関の最小限の床暖房」

この国この地域では寒いのは、たった１，２月の短期間だ。しかしながら、我々体力や抵抗力が弱った入院患者にとっては、ありきたりの暖房では、多々感染症に冒され、生命を落とす。一部分でも床暖房にして欲しい。

先日、背後から転び、オイルヒーターのフィンに頭をぶつけ出血したので、びっくりして生れて始めて、救急車を呼んだ。病院は江南厚生病院だ。数日後に抜糸のために再度この病院を訪れた。

ありきたりの暖房は施されているが、到底この程度では、体力及び抵抗力が弱った病人、高齢者、特に入院患者の生命維持には十分ではない。
特に、高齢者で入院を余儀なくさせられた者にとっては、冷ややかな部屋に閉じこまれて、「もうそろそろ死ね」と言わんばかりである。「死への切符」を渡され、この世界との決別を引導されたと同じだ。

この国この地方では、確かに寒いといっても１月２月だけである。しかしながら、我々これ等の方々にとっては、この短い２ヶ月を過酷な寒さに晒されるのは、物理的肉体的に到底耐えがたく、多くは為に入院中に感染症に冒されて命を落とす。
断じて見過すことが出来ぬ、緊急性及び不可避的課題だ。
何故、例え５室でも良いので、床暖房の入院室を設けて、老人の入院患者に適切に対応しないのかと、設置者厚生連幹部の良識を疑い、激しく怒りを覚える。




厚生連病院の一群は、「地域住民と血の通った医療行政」を展開し、「入院者の生命、延命措置」にあらゆる手段を講じて欲しい

そもそも、厚生連の病院は、遍く県下の市町村、地区、部落に根を下ろしている、農協出資の母体であって、地域住民の健康維持管理、疾疫治癒に主点を置く。地域住民との密着性に主眼を置く。

この根底に、日本人は、総ての体の部位が、そこそこで、長寿に適した体質なのだから、微に入り細に入りした綿密な工夫して迄して延命を計るべきではないとか生命力繁殖力がそこそこ強い民族であるので、むしろ「新陳代謝」こそ計り、次世代の若い世代に子供をもっと多く産んで貰って、老人ばかりの社会構成は計るべきではないと言った誤った危険思想回路が、あちこちで潜在し、蔓延し始めているとすれば、之こそ社会問題とすべき大問題だ。

更に展開し詳説すると、適当に冷暖房された病院内での先生、技師、薬剤師、事務員さん達ばかりが、ここの職業ではなくて、常に現役時代にクレーンオペの私と共に働いてきた、阪大、名大、名工大、岐大の工学部土木科卒の現場監督さんも一職業だ。戸外現場で、猛暑の中でも今時の厳寒期にも仕事を遂行せねばならない。
事肉体的負担だけに限定して考察しても、病院内就業者群とは比肩出来ない大きさだ。彼等が若かりし高校時代に例えばもし薬剤師、歯医者へのコースの大学を志していたならば、左の小指でも軽々クリア出来た事誰もが認める有能者である。
須く、人間多くの負担を長く担い続ければ、如何なる優秀な人物でも枯渇時がより早く到来する。
その他実に多くの職業がこの地でも厳存する。

江戸っ子育ちの鳩山さんは、サラリーマンたる者は、定時に登社し与えられた就業を全うして、定時に退社すれば、之を労働提供と解して、給料を貰って当然と看做す。自分達の就業を通して、会社が儲かろうが傾こうがこの現実は問題外、別問題とする。日航の赤字経営も一好例に入る。
米国では、嘗ての花形職業、パイロットも厳しい現実に直面して、彼等は飛行場敷地内に、寝泊り、炊事、洗濯、便所付きのトレーラーを招致して、時には食事は出前で済ませて以って、嘗ての豪華なマンション賃貸費を切り詰めて、減額支給に長きに渡り対応して来た。この国と乖離が大き過ぎる。
